Meet Chad Stalbaum, Founding Director of Method Event Productions. Armed with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University and PR and Advertising from Columbia College of Chicago, Chad knows how to make things happen. Hailing from the heartland of the mid-west, he started his career in the hospitality industry in Chicago alongside the legendary Wolfgang Puck. Chad's journey took him to opening and managing multiple Gold Coast Cinema locations — the first dine-in movie theater concept. Chad then moved back to Evanston, IL, where he was the General Manager for The Stained Glass and The Cellar at The Stained Glass. He oversaw operations at both restaurants and tripled the number of private events booked within his first of seven years at the restaurants! It was here that Chad proudly produced the very first LGBTQIA+ wedding on Northwestern University’s campus.

Seeking new horizons and a chance to shake up the event production world, Chad packed his bags and headed to the vibrant city of LA to accept a position as Director of Sales and Operations for a high-end catering company. After a great year planning events all over LA, he recognized a need for a more hands-on approach and originality from all levels of management in the industry. Chad's talents soon caught the attention and hearts of many of his clients today, including a major movie studio that he has been creating memorable events for regularly over the past few years. With attention to detail and a foundation of hospitality fundamentals, Chad consistently dazzles with his epic parties, multiple festivals, and unforgettable corporate and personal celebrations of all kinds.

Sarah

She/Her/Hers

Sarah is an experienced sales manager and event guru with a drive for excellence. She manages over 300 volunteers at South by Southwest — one of the biggest annual entertainment conferences in the world held in Austin, TX. Proudly hailing from St. Louis and a graduate of St. Edward's University, Austin, Sarah's remarkable talent, focus, and positive attitude have earned her recognition that led to career advancement opportunities. She launched a successful 10+ year career in Guerilla and B2B Marketing, coordinating, and hosting events for major companies such as Philip Morris and R.J. Reynolds. In 2020, she moved to California to be closer to family. With two decades of customer service experience at F1 races, concerts, sporting events, and conferences, it’s no wonder Sarah’s now a shining star in the world of event production. We are lucky she is with Method Event Productions!

Maddy

She/Her/Hers

Maddy Nelson is an energetic Pennsylvania native with an eye for detail. She grew up working every position in her family pizza parlor, where she quickly learned it takes hard work, late nights, and a strong team to help make the magic happen. After further developing her customer service skills while working in a local casino, she set out for the City of Angels. Once in LA, Maddy worked for some of the top catering and event companies before landing the position as an event coordinator for the one and only Warner Bros. Discovery. Here she had the opportunity to refine her flair for the ins and outs of events — AV, lighting, rentals, florals, catering, and staffing. Always striving to exceed expectations and provide magical experiences, Maddy has become an invaluable asset with the Method team, truly caring about every event as if it was her own!
